Grand Haven Area Community Foundation scholarships were established by donors in our community who cared about giving back and supporting local students. Our wide variety of opportunities include many different criteria, from financial need, the school the applicant is attending, academic achievement, or personal and career goals. We know how expensive college can be, and want to ensure local students are able to achieve their education and career dreams. Dec. 4 – Feb. 1 

  • Scholarship application opens Dec. 4 at ghacf.org/scholarships. 
  • Application is due Feb. 1. 
  • You must complete the 2024-25 FAFSA to be considered.

 February – April  

  • Selection committees convene. 
  • Each submission is reviewed in depth and thoroughly considered. 

May – June  

  • Scholarship awards presented at high school ceremonies, if applicable. 
  • All other applicants notified of decision via email. 

July – August  

  • Scholarship awards are mailed to educational institutions.
