Each May, we honor the top 10% of local graduating high school seniors, as well as the educator who contributed significantly to the student’s academic achievement. Sixty-six students were recognized from Grand Haven High School, Spring Lake High School, and Western Michigan Christian High School. The complete list is below.
Chris Streng, a GHHS alum and 2017 recipient of the Elizabeth Curtis Young Professional of the Year Award, encouraged students to remember the importance of community. He noted that whether they never return to Northwest Ottawa County once they go away to college, or if they “boomerang” and build their lives here, community is essential.
