Please join us in welcoming Adrienne Whisman to the GHACF team. As our Philanthropic Services Associate, she will provide administrative support with donor and grant requests, help process grants, organize information, and provide research assistance.

“I’ve always been drawn to a career that creates a meaningful impact on my community. The foundation provides a vital resource to allow us as individuals and groups to create a better future for us all. At the end of the day, I wanted to be able to say that I had truly helped others through my work. The foundation allows me to see my community grow and thrive.” — Adrienne Whisman

Adrienne has a bachelor’s in history with a focus on women’s history, as well as a degree in humanistic studies from Saint Mary’s College. Prior to the GHACF, she worked for the USS Silversides as a tour guide and archivist, where she researched, catalogued, and preserved artifacts and documents donated to the museum. She also has experience working with various communities and people to help implement change and promote progress towards a better culture. And she’s already put her exceptional proofreading skills to work on the upcoming annual report.

Congratulations, Adrienne! We’re excited to have you on the team!
