The GHACF is Moving to 6 Sherman Avenue

April | GHACF announces move to 6 Sherman.

August | GHACF closes on building at 6 Sherman.

In April, we announced plans to move from our current location at 1 South Harbor Drive to a larger office space at 6 Sherman Avenue, the former City of Grand Haven Water Filtration and Distribution Facility.

The building at 6 Sherman Ave will provide work and meeting space for our entire GHACF staff with the ability to accommodate future growth. In addition, the space will be used to hold meetings with partners and fund holders and host board meetings, events, and trainings. Future plans include an incubator space dedicated to our growing for-impact partners in addition to a garden/patio.

We continue to actively work on the details for the move to 6 Sherman, which is planned for later this year. Check back here for the latest updates.

We’re Here for Our Community

The Grand Haven Area Community Foundation is our community’s charitable foundation. We connect people, support programs, and lead change to help our community thrive, and we help improve and enhance the quality of life by promoting a healthy, inclusive, and diverse community.

Responding in a Time of Crisis

At the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation (GHACF), the Allendale Community Foundation, and the Coopersville Area Community Foundation, our fund holders, donors, partners, teammates, along with their families, and the communities that we serve remain our top priorities. Throughout the pandemic, we have continued to offer the level of personalized service and customized solutions that individuals, organizations, and corporations have come to expect.

We appreciate your continued confidence and understanding as we navigate these ever-changing times. If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact any member of our team.

What can giving just 5% do for the community you love?

It could result in $1.1 billion in charitable gifts! We could change the future of Northwest Ottawa County together.

For good. For ever. For our community.
