Grant to Help Grow Small Businesses on the Lakeshore
We are pleased to announce eight first-round grant awards totaling $191,572 to support the northern Ottawa County community, including a $10,000 grant to Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women (GROW) for their Lakeshore expansion. GROW is focused on supporting women and men at various stages of business ownership. With this grant, they plan to increase services and support for minority-owned lakeshore small businesses through the offering of additional classes, one-on-one business counseling opportunities, and micro-lending.
How an Application Becomes a Grant
You have this great idea—if only you had funding to make it a reality. Where do you start? What’s the process? Is it hard? How many grant rounds are there?
First things first, are you eligible to receive a grant from the Community Foundation?
