Sarah Enlow

Advancement & Donor Relations Manager
What do you do at the GHACF?

In this dynamic role, I am responsible for managing donor relations and advancement efforts with the foundation. Key goals include building relationships, bringing joy and delight to our philanthropic supporters, and creating meaningful opportunities which highlight community impact.

How long have you been with the GHACF?

After being in various units—including medicine, education, and advancement—at Michigan State University over the past 12 years, I started at GHACF in late February 2025.

Why do you work at the GHACF?

Having seen first-hand how philanthropy can transform real people’s lives, I am passionate about creating deeper connections between our generous donors and all organizations and individuals we serve.

My deep professional satisfaction derives from cultivating and sustaining relationships, gaining insight into giving motivations, and effectively communicating charitable impact through compelling narratives and immersive engagement touchpoints.

Each day brings new conversations and chances to create positive change. I’m so grateful to be doing this work alongside the incredibly talented, passionate people at GHACF who are intentionally working toward a better community and world—there are exciting things ahead!

Education & Experience

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from Judson University, I have dedicated my entire professional career to strategic marketing, communications, and relationship building. With an entrepreneurial approach, my experience spans various sectors, including serving as managing editor of a monthly business publication in Lansing and cultivating relationships with alumni and friends at MSU. Within these roles, I have developed comprehensive expertise in public relations, strategic storytelling, and driving successful fundraising initiatives and campaigns.

Committed to continuous professional growth, I regularly participate in industry training, webinars, and focused professional development opportunities to enhance my skill set. As part of my ongoing professional advancement, I plan to pursue a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification in 2026.

Do you have a leisure activity or hobby?

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me outdoors enjoying nature, especially near the water, with my husband Ryan and his three wonderful kiddos: Aayla, Ameira, and Asher. We are so lucky to live in an area with such beautiful natural spaces to explore!

I love trying out new restaurants, gathering with friends for good conversation, planning travel adventures, hopping on my trusty road bike for a ride, and soaking in the energy of live music performances. These activities help me recharge and bring balance to my life.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I played roller derby from 2012 to 2016.
