What do you do at the GHACF?

I am responsible for providing high-level administrative support and organization for the Foundation’s Leadership Teamand the Board of Trustees including the two Affiliate Foundations. I also assist with Foundation event logistics and planning.

How long have you been with the GHACF?

I joined the team in January of 2026.

Why do you work at the GHACF?

I am driven by organizations that strive to make a positive, long-lasting impact and genuinely care about their community and its members. I have been inspired by the philanthropic nature of our community and have seen first-hand the difference that generosity can make. I am proud to be a part of the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation’s mission and contribute to the work that goes into making this community thrive.

Education & Experience

I attended Northern Michigan University and Grand Valley State University where I earned my Bachelor’s in Business Administration. While completing my degree, I interned with the City of Grand Haven where I discovered an immense appreciation for public service and the Grand Haven area. After college I continued my career path working for the Tri-Cities Family YMCA gaining experience in non-profit executive and board support as well as fund development and event coordination. Throughout my education and career, I have developed a strong sense of leadership and passion for making a positive difference every day.

Do you have a leisure activity or hobby?

I enjoy any activity involving being outdoors – especially running or hiking local trails. Other joys include travelling, yoga, and vintage resale shopping.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I am originally from Colorado and while sometimes I miss the mountain views, I have fallen in love with living on the West Michigan lakeshore. In the Summer, you can find me at the beach with a book every chance I get.
