How long have you been with the GHACF?

I joined the team in September 2026.

Why do you work at the GHACF?

I believe thriving communities are built through collective effort, meaningful relationships, and a shared commitment to creating opportunities for everyone. GHACF’s supportive, relationship-centered approach to philanthropy deeply resonates with my personal values of collaboration, integrity, and trust. I’m inspired by the opportunity to be part of an organization that brings people together to create lasting, meaningful impact in our community.

Education & Experience

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master of Arts in Reading Instruction. My professional journey began in education, where I spent 9 years as a high school educator helping students learn and grow. For the past 13 years, I have worked in the nonprofit sector, building the infrastructure and capacity organizations need to scale their impact and create lasting change in the communities they serve. My experience includes executive leadership roles within Chicago’s nonprofit landscape and, more recently serving organizations and communities throughout the Grand Haven Area.

Do you have a leisure activity or hobby?

Anything that gets me outdoors. I love to run, hike, walk the pier, golf, or spend the day at the beach.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

Every year before the change of the new year, I run a half marathon inside my house. It’s called the “Cabin Fever Half” and my aid station crew consists of my 7-year-old twins.
