What do you do at the GHACF?
I oversee all digital and print marketing and communication efforts that support and advance the work of the GHACF. This includes press releases, design, social media and website management.
How long have you been with the GHACF?
I joined the GHACF team in December 2022.
Why do you work at the GHACF?
I grew up in West Michigan, and being able to live here and work for an organization that is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all individuals in our area is a dream come true.
Education & Experience
I will graduate from the University of Alabama with a Master of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations with a concentration in Marketing and Communication Management in May. Roll Tide!
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications & Film from the University of Alabama. I began my professional career as a news reporter with an ABC affiliate in Birmingham, Alabama. This is where I fell in love with serving the public and making a difference through storytelling. I transitioned into nonprofit marketing and communications where I have been able use this passion and support organizations who are working for the greater good.
Do you have a leisure activity or hobby?
I love spending time with my husband and two pups. I also enjoy any outdoor activity, going to concerts, reading a good book and watching college football.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I lived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for 10 years.
