Heather Delimata

Administrative Specialist
What do you do at the GHACF?

I provide administrative support to the foundation.

How long have you been with the GHACF?

I started with the foundation in September of 2020.

Why do you work at the GHACF?

Impact. My experience in fundraising and nonprofits has been primarily focused to one area. Working with the foundation will allow me to assist the team to make as big of an impact on our communities as possible, in a variety of areas that are important to those we serve.

Education & Experience

I graduated from Governors State University in 2015, where I obtained my degree in Health Administration. After graduating, I began my career with Mercy Health where I learned my love for philanthropy and making an impact in the community. This passion is what lead me to my role in Development at AgeWell Services, where I helped raise funds for Meals on Wheels in Oceana, Muskegon, and Ottawa counties.

Do you have a leisure activity or hobby?

Anything outdoors! We moved to West Michigan in 2015 because of the opportunities for outdoor recreation. From the plethora of waterways to the acres of national forest, we love everything that Michigan has to offer.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

My husband and I own a small farm that’s home to horses, pigs, chickens, and cows.
