Human Resources/Facilities Manager
What that means
I am responsible for a broad range of human resources functions, from helping GHACF staff maintain integrity, ethics and respect for one another to annual review processes, HR policies and procedures, HR laws, recruitment process, onboarding, employee activities and events, DEI, employee benefits, safety, employee recordkeeping and documentation, employee counseling, supporting the Leadership Team, and compliance and best practices. I am also the contact for all building vendors, maintain all contracts and terms, day-to-day operations of the facility, and addresses issues that may arise.
Education & Experience
I earned my Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degrees from Baker College in Muskegon in Business Administration, with a emphasis in Human Resources Management. I have more than 10 years’ experience in HR Manufacturing and more than 12 years in HR Health Care. My diverse background gives me the opportunity to impact people’s lives in many ways by making a difference and helping them achieve their goals. I have experience in implementing training and development programs, enforcing employee-oriented committees, reducing turnover by building employee morale programs, and creating protocols for improvement processes. My main goal is empowering others through training and development, and showing others their value.

I joined the team in October 2023.
Why do you work at the GHACF
I have a passion for making a difference in people’s lives, which makes a difference in me. Working at GHACF gives me the opportunity to see how people are impacted because of a cause and be a part of an inspiration. People need people, and this role gives me the opportunity to be a part of the change and watch the growth.
Leisure activity or hobby
I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, taking road trips and spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy formal dancing and live bands.
I play the clarinet.
