The
Youth Committee was proud to support Grand Haven Area Public
School's "The Only Arms You'll Ever Need" Campaign
which received both state and national recognition.
New
grants for the school year 2009-10 (September 1, 2009-June
30, 2010) During
the 2009-10 school year the Youth Advisory Committee is continuing
to support programs for youth in the Tri-Cities. Listed below
are some of the new grants awarded from the Youth Fund:

$3,400 to Love INC for the purchase of two Gleaners
Trucks
$1,500 to Love INC to purchase motel vouchers for
Emergency Shelter
$1,000 to Love INC to purchase ground beef for their
pantry

Love INC for the Birthday Box Ministry
$5,000 to double the number of familys adopted throught
the Salvation Army this Christmas
$3,000 to the People Center for help with the cost
of winter utilities
$2,000 to the People Center to restock their food
pantry
$1,000 to the People Center for the purchase of blankets

to
support cpimse;omg at Tri-Cities Ministries Counseling
$2,000
to purchase diapers, infant formula, and baby items for
Lakeshore Pregnancy Center.
